HP’s glass-coated Envy Spectre ultrabook
Technology provider, HP has extended its ultrabook arsenal with the addition of the Envy Spectre.
The key design feature of the product is the lightweight, scratch-resistant glass on the lid, display, palmrest and ImagePad.
Powered by Intel Core processors, the product includes 128GB of mSata SSD storage, Intel Rapid Technology for accelerated boot and resume times, and measures in at 22mm in thickness with a weight of less than 1.8-kilos.
It also offers a high definition HP Radiance Display, backlit keyboard with dedicated LEDs, advanced proximity sensor which senses a user’s presence and operates accordingly.
The ultrabook is equipped with audio-grade speaker mesh and Beats Audio technology developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre. It includes an aluminium analogue volume dial that acts as a visual design cue and works with Beats Audio Manager for audio level adjustment. The device also has wireless audio capabilities.
