Our first stop after lunch is Trosa, a fishing village dating from the 14th
century. The shoals of herring are long gone, along with the men and boats
that followed them, and now the harbour is filled with pleasure craft, and
the only old boats are models in the windows of picturesque wooden houses.

canal, and to sit on a bench with an ice cream and watch the passage of life
over flower-decked footbridges.
