i was given a IBM thinkpad 390E and i updated all programs and installed proper drivers but when i connect my USB Ethernet adapter to usb port my lap top freezes. i then need to restart my system by pushing power button. i am able to connect to internet
Yes, connect ALL connections BEFORE powering the laptop up. Older systems don't 'find' things as easily as the newer USB2.0 or newer systems.
