Iris slaví v letošním roce 25 let existence, a IrisLink 2012 se tak konal v univerzitním městě Louvain-la-Neuve nedaleko Bruselu, kde před 25 lety položil CEO Pierre De Muelenaere svou doktorskou prací základy firmy Iris. Úvodní keynote byla připomenuta historie firmy, ale pouze krátce, neboť jak řekl CEO Pierre De Muelenaere, důležitá je především budoucnost firmy a jejího byznysu.
Na pódium poté přišel CFO Denis Hermesse, aby představil finanční výsledky firmy za uplynulý rok. Iris dosáhl rekordního obratu 121 milionů eur a hrubého zisku 61 milionů eur. Minulý rok byl podle Denise Hermesse náročný jak díky ekonomické nestabilitě, tak kvůli přírodním katastrofám, které zasáhly řadu továren.
Obrat v porovnání s rokem 2010 rostl pouze o 1,5 milionu eur, přesto jej firma považuje za úspěšný, neboť se dařilo několika klíčovým segmentům. Obrat partnerského segmentu rostl o 11,8 % a prodeje v regionu EMEA se zvýšily meziročně o 21,8 %. Řešení pro právnické společnosti rostlo na obratu o 32,5 % a hrubý zisk si polepšil o 44,9 %. Třetím klíčovým segmentem je ICT byznys, který si polepšil na obratu o 8,9 %.
