Certiport Recognizes Five High School Students in Kansas State Scholarship Program

“Certiport offered this scholarship program to support the statewide focus in Kansas helping to ensure that students achieve challenging academic and technical standards,” said Ray Kelly, CEO, Certiport. “Certification helps to prepare students for skilled, high-demand occupations and the scholarships encourages more students to get certified.”
Scholarship applicants were required to be high school students who had earned credits in approved Kansas State Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. They achieved certification in at least one of the following: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), Adobe Certified Associate (ACA), and/or Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3). In addition, they submitted an original essay on “The value of certification in helping students to become college and career ready upon graduation.”
