South Berwick student earns Maritime diploma

CASTINE, Maine — Christian Lamberts, of South Berwick, recently received a Master of Science degree in global logistics and maritime management from Maine Maritime Academy.

Diplomas were presented to graduates at a mid-year graduation ceremony held Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Alfond Student Center on the college campus. Lamberts is a graduate of Marshwood High School in South Berwick.

Maine Maritime Academy, a public, co-educational college specializing in ocean and marine-oriented programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, was founded in 1941. The academy enrolls more than 900 students from 35 states and several foreign countries.


Budget review schedule set for South Berwick

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — A schedule for the review of the fiscal year 2013 budget has been set. The public meetings are as follows; all meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chamber at Town Hall.
