Freehold Borough ready to celebrate 'Irish Week'

FREEHOLD — The borough is gearing up to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a week of sights and sounds of all things Irish. The event is being sponsored by Downtown Freehold and the Freehold Borough Arts Council (FBAC).
Events have been scheduled for March 12-17.
According to FBAC President Neal Girandola, on March 13 and 14 an array of participating restaurants will take part in a Dine Around 5:30-8 p.m.
Guests can stroll along Main Street and stop in at participating eateries and enjoy samples of food atALittle Bit of Cuba Dos, the American Hotel, Cafe 360, the Court Jester, Federici’s, the Metropolitan Cafe, Oyako Tso’s, San Marzano Trattoria, Solo Trattoria, Sweet Lew’s Cafe, and Texas Mexican Restaurant. Tickets for the Dine Around are $10.
Attendees are encouraged to stop in at the Especially For You Florist and Gift Shop where owner Marlene Rogala will have her green carnation and shamrock sale ready. Rogala said she is looking forward to the week of activities.
