Potter-Dix Speech Team Named MAC Champions

SIDNEY – The Potter-Dix speech team, led by sponsor and teacher Kathy Larson, placed first at the MAC speech competition on Feb. 22 at South Platte High School.
The Coyotes led with 165 points, with the Leyton Speech team earning second place with 100 total points.
The top-scoring Potter-Dix teammates contributing to the win are list below by contest.
In Serious Prose Kenna Smith placed first, followed by Morgan Wolff in second.
Smith placed first in Humorous Prose as well, and teammate Kyle Gorusch took second place.
In Extemporaneous Speaking, Kate Woten took first and Thomas Wilbur placed fourth.
Lindsay Harms placed first in Informative Speaking, followed by Luke Johnson in second place.
The first-place Duet team was Devan Baker and Tiffany LaBeau, and Potter-Dix also placed second in that event with the team of Spencer Neugebauer and Taylor Holz.
Holz also placed first in Poetry and teammate Woten took third.

I'm entering my freshman year of college and am hoping to take notes with my macbook... I was also hoping to record the lectures in some format... would MacSpeech be a good tool for this? If not, are there any other tools, that would be better?
