That’s the message ceramics artist Jessica Gardner has for those who visit her exhibit, “GrowinG UP,” in the Harry Krug Gallery, Porter Hall, Pittsburg State University. The exhibit opened Thursday with a lecture by the artist and will be on view through May 4.
“I find the contemporary viewer expects more than just a visual experience,” Gardner said. “My giraffe rocking chair helps them become part of the space.”
“GrowinG UP” focuses on toys, some interactive games and generally creates a feeling of being in a small child’s environment.
“I get asked about this a lot,” Gardner said. “I want children at some point, but that’s not what this is about. I’m fascinated how the early development stages affect the adult. Children have so much potential, and then we begin to weigh them down. I read an article about how you can only truly change if you go back to the way you were, and these pieces may become a vessel for memory. Some people will just be excited by the texture. I like to give that option.”
Why is that you can't download Nancy Drew games from Her Interactive?
I want this game so bad and it's on sale for $9.99 at herinteractive(for both box and digital download) but when I click the download button the page doesn't come up. I get a page that says Internet Explorer cannot display the web page.

I downloaded on on Saturday and it worked fine. Took a while, but worked fine.
Can you try downloading Mozilla Firefox first? I had to switch a long time ago due to complications with my Internet Explorer, but the Her Interactive page states
