Home Accountz 2012
19.05.12
Keeping track of your money is a dull necessity, and whether it’s just in your head or on a computer it’s easy to get confused and miss something. If you’ve avoided using your computer for this before, perhaps it’s time to change.
Home Accountz 2012 introduces the Eazy Button, which aims to take you straight into any aspect of the application, so you can quickly and easily take control of your personal finances. You can start by importing your statement from your bank, or data from a previous home accounting package. The package supports OFX, CSV and QIF formats and, with the support of a number of online videos, you’re quickly up to date.
It’s here that the Eazy Button comes into its own. You no longer need to navigate through menus and button bars to find the function you want: it’s a big, clear, button on a sixteen-square grid that, with just a click, takes you through a couple of steps to perform the type of entry you want in the correct way. Each step is fully documented, as you’d expect, and the end result is the data exactly where you want it.
